Silver Willow studs
Based on cut willow, these are hand cast from a real willow saved from a walk in my hometown Lewes, East Sussex, UK this springtime. My mother is a willow basket maker, so I grew up surrounded by beautiful elegant willows and am attuned to the process of planting, growing, and harvesting them.
These studs are each unique and hold the grain and texture of a willow. The solid silver has been cut on each end at an angle, like a basket maker trims their baskets when they’ve finished weaving. They are approximately 11mm long and perfect for everyday wear.
